So from what i understand Nvidia Optimus will change videocards without ever screen flash. Right now we have to press FN + F6 to switch between intel and nvidia.

    From what i see here,
    NVIDIA DRIVERS 189.79

It supports only asus laptops, so i wonder if we can use this? Or its only for i processors?

The M11x won't support Optimus. It's only for i-processor on Win7 from my understanding.

I can live with the screen flash, it lets me know that it actually switched gpu for starters.

The key difference would be it switching on the fly for when its needed without user intervention.

Not to be negative, but I like user intervention... I think switching or the option to switch is better than having the notebook magically do it for me.

I am sure some people would want auto switching though. Probably a benefit to less 'techy' folks.

    Best wishes,

    StevenX

I like being able to switch when I want to. Im not so lazy that I need the computer to push one key for me.

Same here, imo ild like to see that it switched instead of having to double check whether it switched or not.
