Anyone know if its worth jumping on the M11x now, or wait for the "Rumored" refresh. I don't want to purchase now if the M11x will be getting the new Core i Processors. Anyone hear any more news about a possible bump in specs, or should i just purchase it now..??

I have been out of the laptop world for a while, but correct me if I am wrong. Other mainstream companies have not yet released a system with i3 this size. So it going to be awhile before the m11x is updated. I am guessing till the fall. Even then it would be a 20% increase (less in gaming?) so I don't think its worth waiting, if anything you can resell this laptop. Its specs are very desirable and you will loose a lot less on this than say a 15".

In that case you should never purchase any kind of computer. :D Only then you will be safe from the fact that in 6 months or so there will be a new revision of the same model.

Besides... it was released 2 months ago (sometime like March 1st) and first models were delivered like what 5 weeks ago?

Even if they had everything ready to build systems with i5/i7 it would be kind of pointless to do it so soon after release. In short: pretty unlikely.

If you're willing to wait a month and a half for E3 it might just provide an indication of what and when the M11x refresh will include. Personally i think the current CPU is far more powerful than people give it credit.

it just does not make good marketing sense to update a successful product. If it was a flop then AW should not wait 6 months for a refresh
