I know there is a thread for the R2 but has anyone seen a change in there aero score with the new nvidia display driver? My aero score used to be 5.7 and now it's 6.8, which is the same as my graphics score.

I hate to sound like an elitist...

But Windows Experience Index means nothing. You need to use a real standardized benchmark (like 3DMark06, 3DMark Vantage, 3DMark11) in order to get an actual measurement of your GPU performance.

Using Windows Experience Index as a GPU measurement tool is like trying to figure out the weight of a package by picking it up with your hand and guessing. If you want to figure out exact weight, you use a scale. If you want to determine GPU performance, you use a real benchmarking suite.

Agreed, but still interesting to see what others have got.

I agree also, my only concern was with Optimus. I don't want my battery to drain faster because the integrated graphics is not kicking in.

Integrated should stay on until you start a 3d game/test, or you can edit settings in the nvidia control panel.
