    Hi, I planning to buy an alienware m11x R3 in Canada, but I don't see the nameplate option, I know it's just an extra but I love it, is there really no way to get this option in Canada?

    we dont get that option in the czech republic either.. but it did come with a name plate. i just unscrewed it took it to a local guy who engraved it for me... the screws were just normal philips head screws and it just went straight back on after. no problems....

    try ordering by phone and see if they can do it that way. There are often more options available if you talk to a sales rep directly. You could probably pull of a discount too with some clever haggling. :)
