    Evening all,

I am considering making my M11x R3 my main setup for a while and sell my Clevo to fund a new Alienware X51 once they sort out the crappy motherboard with its SATA II ports  I foresee that I do not require much power for the games I want to play until January 2013. Everything has worked out fine apart from one thing my uber powerful Killer wireless N card seems to be failing miserably.

I currently have a stock cheap atheros adaptor in my Clevo and it sits on 99% signal but with the Killer it start on 98% then after a minute drops to 78% and then down to 56% and drops like mad :( I am literally above the Homehub so only metres away with a standard floor in between me and the hub.

Do I need to change something in the settings? When I am sitting near the hub I do not see any issue so is this specific to the M11x? I have noticed that the output is G not N and both my hub and the killer can run N but the only option I have in my settings is Wireless N 40mhz.

I am clueless about this type of thing help is appreciated. The only other option if it is the card is to switch the wireless cards before I sell the Clevo but surely the Killer is going to be better? Surely? :)

Swapped over my Cheapo Clevo Wireless card and I am getting 100% signal so it is the Killer card....

Is there anything I should change before sticking with the cheapo one? Seems crazy to pay extra for something that does not work as it should.

Nope AVG fella that is all I have ever used. It is strange but swapping the cables over has given me much better signal. But it is now in the 90's :)
