I recently bought an Asus RT N16 and installed DDWRT Mega build on it.
The idea was to have an Wireless N only network running. I am setting the wireless security to WPA2 + AES, WMM is enabled.
I am connecting my iphone to the Asus in N only mode with no issues.
Now the problem, my M11xR3 (Intel Centrino Advanced Wireless N 6250 + Wimax) is able to see the SSID, is able to ask for a password on accessing the wireless network and then it returns an error saying it is not possible to access the network.
If I change the network to Wireless G/N mixed mode it works but only on G (54mbps).
I have updated to intel's latest drivers and DDWRT is the latest also.
I tried in the card's properties and checked Enable n mode (although the item wireless mode only presents me with a, b, g options)... anyway I do it no wireless n connection. I even tried with a different brand router to no luck...
I tried troubleshutting with ddwrt, intel, dell, but I couldn't find anything usable on this!
Help, how can I solve this? I want my 300mbps!
