    Thought I'd start a dedicated thread for those experiencing loud fan issues. I've noticed a lot of complaints about it in various other posts. Hopefully a BIOS update will help in the future, but I thought it'd be useful to track the reports here.

    Mine is extremely loud while gaming and benchmarking, much more noisy than my R2 was. It kicks on as soon as I start playing, so I don't think it's a temp problem. It is very quiet for all other tasks though.

    According to others here you are supposed to accept this.
    You are not suppossed to complain about this because it is normal.

    At least thats what some will say.

    I'm on the same boat as you. Game starts up -> fan starts roaring so loud it actually drowns out the music from the game.

    Is the loud fan keeping the temps low or are they just aceptable?

    Reason im asking is if the fan is blowing like crazy but your in the 80s, turning it down would be a bad idea
