These are the two main games I am looking forward to playing this fall. Do you guys think its worth the risk to get the M11x R2 in hopes of playing CoD: Blackops and AC:Brotherhood on medium/high settings when they come out?

i don't foresee any difficulty with call of duty black ops. the last two cod:mw2 and cod:waw run just fine maxed out on the m11x and i can run cod:waw maxed out on my external display at 1680x1050, much higher than the native 1366x768 on the m11x display.

Yes, (not trying to one-up 1201NFTW) but to concur that COD MW2 plays on all maximum settings on 1080p (Sony Bravia). Looks amazing and smooth as silk.

I have no idea about the other game. I would try to search devolopers forums for early performance indications and specs.

i've been on upped  lol jk

seriously the m11x is one powerful system i wouldn't worry about any games in the near future being unable to run at medium settings while steven and i are able to play the most recent Call of Duty games at maximum settings at resolutions much higher than the native resolution of the m11x screen.

1920x1080 (1080p) has nearly twice the pixels as the 1366x768 native display so to me it looks like the m11x has some head room for games especially at the native resolution. steven and i may not be able to play cod: black ops maxed out at 1080p, but at the m11x native resolution for the upcoming games this year i think the m11x is up to the task

Its call of duty.... You'll run it fine. Personally after the crap of MW2 I've given up on the series.

I'm in the Beta. Personally its not as annoying when you get killed as in COD. But its no where near as fun..... Think COD, no perks, less customization and Bad Company 2 controls....
