Okay so WoW is running pretty terrible on my M11x R2, Skyrim runs great so I have no clue why it is doing this I've tried almost every single driver possible and the only way I can get the game to run W/O BSODing or Locking-up (260.70+ causes BSOD's and everything below 270 locks up) is to underclock my GPU. WHile my GPU is serisuoly underclocked I get terrible FPS. Any help here?

Update: this happens to all games too, not just for wow, but more frequently with wow.

You sure you've set your whitelist correctly? I've found with my R3 that i have to manually set every game in my whitelist or it'll use the integrated GPU.

Are your temps high? Have you tried re-pasting/cleaning it out? I have heard that they collect dust quickly, so maybe it just needs to be cleaned.

your not the only one bro, i have the i5 r2, and it bsod like theres no tomorrow. i did some antec 5 repaste, i turned off my overclocking in bios, i even did a fresh windows install still does the same thing on high gpu games (it even bsod on league of legends and minecraft???)im even running a intel ssd.

i called up tech support and as much of a tech guru i am to anything windows based and tried to school the guy, he just told me to remove all my drivers for nvidia and told me to install the dell nvidia 257.30 driver. well, long story short everything is working. no bsod whatsoever, im even running skyrim on those old drivers.

    edit:
i even downloaded that new 285.62 beta driver they added to the dell support site and guess what, i met my old bsod friend again...

I'm running the 285.62 drivers and WoW runs fine.

This is a typical example of PC gaming at it's worst idenitical systems having trouble with the same game.

Take Warhammer online for example, my GPU just stops working causing me to had restart my laptop as it just becomes totally unresponsive.

Okay the 257.30 drivers are just causing lockups for me. And my GPU temps are normal.

That's not the problem. It's the fact that If my GPU is anything more than underclocked my computer will either BSOD or lock up. My CPU is fine.

Okay I really need help, no one can figure out what's wrong. All my other games seem to work fine now, but WoW. I can only play on low settings and if I go to ultra i get a BSOD or sometimes I'll get an error saying the nvidia gpu has stopped working but has recovered and the wow screen gets all pixely and crashes. Yes, it is whitelisted. Any help is greatly appreciated!

This has been a pain for the R2 for over a year now. there has never been a solution. When I had my R2 I had a good 10+ page thread about it. With numerous solutions. The only way to mediate the problem was an underclock. I'm sorry but that's how it is.
