The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    M11x R2 Running Sluggish

    This has been a serious problem lately. I've done everything possible to try and speed up the machine but bootups are slower than usual, certain programs just won't run without being extremely slow and programs that worked before no longer run like they used to. I'd really appreciate your help. These problems have been occurring for about a month now, I've had the machine since October of 2010 and I've never ran into a problem such as this.
