My machine is an R2 i7 with 8GB of RAM and a vertex 2 SSD; it lags a lot when browsing through netflix in WMC and is even worse when I output to my 24" monitor but the video plays fine so I can deal with it. Today I try to watch a show on ABC website and every five seconds the video would freeze and then jump to the right place. I updated to flash 10.3 and it made no difference. I also tried chrome and still didn't change anything. I have gone through and set everything on high or max performance. I can play 1080p youtube videos without lag. I think throttlestop will be my next step when I have time to configure and test. Does anyone have any other suggestions for the lag?

    Thanks,
    Kenrevo

Are Chrome and WMC whitelisted for use of the Nvidia GPU?

Follow this link: Adobe - Flash Player
At the top there will be a flash type animation
    Right click and select "Settings..."
A tiny box should pop up
Hardware Acceleration should be the first option within the box (You will see it)
It should be checked, you want to uncheck it which will disable hardware acceleration.
However, I doubt this will help you but you never know.
in 10.3 they have fixed a lot of hardware acceleration problems (Including one I experienced)

i'm on an r2 also and i unfortunately still have flash problems such as plugin crashes, delays, and an occasional failed flash install window when i reboot (which doesn't give a specific error reason). i don't know who to blame. ;)

p.s. evenlikesteven, where is your avatar from? it looks cool.
