    Hey NBR people,

I am interested in purchasing an M11x for school. The M11x R3 is a little out of my budget so I was wondering how well the R2 performs in the game. Is it able to hit 40 FPS on low everything 768p or will I have to tune down the res to like 1024x768?

    Thanks!

For BF3 you really want the R3 and even then you must stick to low-med at 768p if you want 30fps+ I see on average 20-30 for the campaign but I am running mine at 1080p.

There is not a lot of CPU difference between the R2 and R3 but the GPU is faster. Check out Dell Outlet as you would be much better off getting the R3 not only for the newer tech and more powerful GPU it has SATA III.
