    Hey guys!

I've had my M11x R2 for over 2 years now.
I've noticed in the past half a year or so when I'm playing any games I'll have a stable FPS but every so often it dips.
It happens pretty often now though.

I've checked the CPU usage and noticed it dips to below 80% at times and even when I'm not OC'ing the GPU.
My warranty is over so I don't mind opening up the M11x to see what's up, is it plausible if I were to replace the thermal paste?
I don't think my GPU is overheating though.. doesn't go over 80 degrees Celsius when I'm gaming but the GPU usage does dip pretty low..

    Anyone have any ideas?

CPU shouldn't even reach 80% while gaming as games don't really push or use the CPU that much. When was the last time you cleaned the vent and fan for dust?

most commonly overheating. It does depend on games, RTS will use a fair lot of CPU. Depends on games. Still I'd suggest checking the heatsink, especially in summer when it is hot, plus even the thin dust film over the heatsink does hurt cooling a fair lot...
