My M11x R1 after all these years won't turn on.. it worked perfectly 3 days ago and now nothing. The battery is fully charged but still nothing.. When i click the alienware head to power on, there are no beeps, it doesn't even glow... I thought maybe a wire was disconnected so I opened it up but everything was connected.. I also tried unhooking the battery and taking the ram out.. then holding the power button down for 10 seconds to discharge everything.. now the weird thing with this.. when i plugged everything back in, i pushed the alienware power button and lights on the alienware head came on for a second.. i clicked again and nothing.... I have no idea what this means.. do you ???

do you think my motherboard is gone???

    what to do???

    thanks! =)

most likely have a bad power module. It is just under the faceplate directly underneath the power button. You should check the ribbon cable connecting the power module to the main board to see if it seated properly and not frayed or shorting out. The module is Part number 9HH5G

I would say motherboard. The battery has charge so it should come up.
