I can't install these drivers. I can run the programs, they say they install, and I'm left with the Laptop_Integrated_Webcam thing in Device Manager.

This happened to me before, and I solved it by going to the My Dell Downloads or whatever it's called and installing the Dell Webcam software. That's not working this time.

    Any pointers?

I just reloaded the OS and re-installed all the Dell drivers after putting in a Samsung 840 Series 250GB SSD in my M11x R2. The drivers for the camera, I believe, came with the Alienware Command Center. It shows up in Device Manager as Video Capture Device after installing this software. Hope it helps!

Well, I'm no longer using my R1 as my main machine, and it's a long story about the reinstall. I'm hoping that this works out when I eventually do redo it. Thanks

Try reinstalling the driver, if not, reinstall the OS. I did the same when my webcam has problems, and it worked fine. good luck!
