I got this m11x R1 at the middle of may, after 5 months of use battery bar now indicates 1.6% battery wear? Is this normal?

It's still under the 1 year basic warranty. Call up Dell / talk to a dell representative online and show proof of your 1.6% battery wear with whatever program you're using.

Yeah, 1.6% is nothing, as long as it`s under 10% in the first year you are ok.

My battery wear showed as 0% wear when i first turned on my new notebook, but after a couple of calibrates you get the true wear level, it went to 4% then 4.5% , So 4.5% is my true wear level, this was within the first couple of days of having my new notebook.

What program did you use to determine the wear level? Was the wear level listed as -4.5% or 4.5%?

HWMonitor v1.16.0 gives me -1% wear level
BatteryBar v3.4.0 gives me 0% battery wear.

    M11xR1 SU7300 and 6½ months of ownership.

I just use battery bar, it`s the most accurate , hwmonitor seems to round the number off, so you get 4% not 4.5%

I show 0% with battery bar on my refurb R2.

Does the wear only start showing up when your current capacity falls below the designed capacity? (69wh currently vs the 64wh capacity)

I still don´t have my m11x here yet, but I tested it in my current laptop (Dell Inspiron 1525), almost 2 years old (is gonna be 2 years in Dec.) and it shows a 63% wear...

And is true, with max bright, running from the battery, I get like 20-30 min of battery life...

But I use it for my job, is 80% of the time plugged....
