My friend has an M11x R2 and he said he further OCed his M11x R2, but he is not sure it would work on the R1. I will post what the name of the program is in a response when he gets it to me, but does anyone have any idea what I can do to further OC my m11x R1, and have the lowest risk of screwing it up?

the C2D in the R1 doesnt seem to get throttled due to temp or power usage so TS IMO wont help a R1.

everything you need to make the R1 faster is in the above thread that was linked.

sadly you have to dissemble your R1 to mod it. unlike your friends R2 that is totally software OC friendly

Throttle is not an overclocking program, it just improves the speed of the R2 processors by removing the voltage and amp limit. This limit was designed to make the processor use less power but ofc it reduced speeds. Since the R1 CPU doesnt have turbo boost, then you dont need to worry about it.
