    If you are useing a HP556s external drive and want to use just 1 usb cable be aware of the following:

    When pluging the drive into the computer while the computer is chargeing the light on the back of the external dvd will keep flashing red. Hit the FN key and ALIEN FX key, this turns off keyboard lights. Plug external dvd in and you will now get a blue light in back of it and the drive will be seen by the computer. Now hit FN and ALIEN FX to turn your keyboard lights back on. :D

    That's kinda strange. Power draw issue with the lights on?

    Yes i do belive that the keyboard,front lights and usb ports in some way are sharing power more than usual while charging on the 335 invida card.
