I received my M11xR2 about a week and a half ago. So far, everything is running smooth except for one little issue. The Alienware text under the screen that is supposed to be lit through AlienFX remains dark and off no matter what I do. I have attempted to uninstall Command Center and then clean the registry and then reinstall, but it does not work (or maybe I did it incorrectly). Anyways, I was hoping if any of the forum members could offer any assistance in this area?

Did you try creating a new theme or loading another existing theme?

    Open up: C:\Program Files\Alienware\Command Center\ AlienwareAlienFXTester.exe

See if it reports an error.

If still dead, its time to call support - this isn't a software issue.

Try the tester (as mentioned already in this thread). If you've already reinstalled AWCC, you'll unfortunately need to have the display replaced. This issue happens from time to time but isn't common. Apologies for the trouble.
