    M11X: Lock FN-Key?

    Any idea how to lock the FN-key so that I don't always have to press FN in order to increase or decrease the volume?

    I remember reading either in the official lounge (3 or 4 after people actually got the laptop) or the optimization thread where someone listed a program they used to re-map some of the Function keys. I think they had remapped volume or screen brightness... I didn't have my computer at the time so I didn't try it and until reading this thread I had forgotten about it.

    Nope, but i'd like to know, it's one of the annoying things. Dedicated volume buttons would have been better.

    Great tip, but I can't find out how to change the keys for brightness :S
