1st of all, how do i determine if mines is 1x 2x or 3x and so on?
Thanks to this site, I was able to find some drivers.

I am still left with 2 drivers, Base System Driver.

Found a thread mentioned card reader but that wasn't it. Maybe I have wrong card reader driver? I got it from Dell driver page.

The driver on the site is not helpful at all. The VGA driver there didn't even work, had to use Vista 64bit driver from elsewhere.

    If you have a core2duo CPU with 335m GPU, it's an R1.
    If you have a 1st gen i3/i5/i7 CPU with 335m GPU, it's an R2.
    If you have a 2nd gen i3/i5/i7 CPU with 540m GPU, it's an R3.

It's Core Duo. So it must be R1.
I have the actual Window 7 64bit for Alienware, stupid it doesn't have all the driver included.

OMG!!! I dont know how long it was on in my backpack. I had in my backpack since 1pm and I just now check at 9pm and my backpack is hotttttt. If that was compaq/hp with nVIDIA, it'ov been dead already. I guess it's worth the high price.

Find the hardware ids in device manager and search Google for the id string. I guarantee you'll find the drivers in under 10 mins.

If you are refering to right click and property, under general and details tab, there's nothing. Usually it's like acpi/blabla something like that.

In the right pane in your image (the details tab) there is a drop down box titled "Property", select "Hardware Ids". It will give a string that looks like this: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0116&SUBSYS_04C81028&REV_09 Google the sting.

Hey thanks. I need to remember to choose hardware ID. Google shows the id is Dell R295901.exe but on driver site it's R253584.exe for cardreader, no wonder the one i downloaded didn't work.
