M11X R3 Stealth black or Nebula red

I have never seen the red so is it nice or is the black better. I know once the lid is up it doesnt matter a bit, but bling is nice.

 

It only depends on you, some will prefere the red, other will prefere the black, personnaly if I was you I'll go with the black, I think that not all alienFX color will go with the red, but with the black all colors can be fine.

 

Umm whats an alien FX color? Is that the backlight keyboard?

 

alienfx color is a program that can customize the color of your laptop not just keyoard, like the alienware logo, keyboard, and grills. I think what tsukurimashou is saying is that red case wont match some of the alienfx colors you choose compared to black. but if that doesnt matter to you like you play in the dark then it doesnt matter tbh - its all up to you man. personally i already have the m15x and m11x in black so i'd choose the red hope this helps brah

There was already a thread on this that I was reading about a week ago, but I can't find it. There were a bunch of responses, some for black, a few more for red.

The main issue I got out of it is that the red is a good red. Red can turn out terrible some times (seen a car with a bad red paint job?). Anyway, most everyone who'd seen red said it looked good, even if their preference was for black.

 

I had a black R1.

I went w/ red for my R3 on a whim.

I love it. It's a dark red, and because it's soft touch and not glossy - it looks really good to me.

You can't go wrong with black - but you could take a risk and go red, and be pleasantly surprised.

I know I was - when I opened up that box and saw this red beast, my first reaction was "wow - that looks REALLY nice."

 

I got red here. I got the M17x R3 in black because I didn't think I would like the red. Once the M11x R3 was released I decided to give it a try and I love it. I will say for a small laptop red is very nice but I don't think I would have liked it on anything bigger. 17 inches of red would be much but on an 11 inch its perfect.

Red is pretty!

 

Is there actually a place that I could look at these in person? I've never seen a Dell outlet, but I have seen kiosks in malls and Best Buy did stock the m11x r1 at one point. However, I have no idea where Alienware is sold at retail if any place at all.
