I've searched the forum and there has been a couple of threads about this but no real answer.

    Problem:
My R2 will randomly go into sleep mode while I am working on it.

    Description:
It is plugged in and NOT on battery. System is OCed to 160 but I've had this system for over a year and no problems with this setting. GPU is not OCed.

    Attempted Solutions:
Tried reformatting, clean install with latest drivers from Dell, Nvidia, and Intel.

    Notes:
Sometimes the system will not go into full sleep mode. The screen will just turn blank for 2 seconds then return to normal. Very aggravating - it just turned off as I was typing this.

    Thoughts anyone?

Command center check you're sleep settings, then double check that the acutal system settings arent set to sleep after a period of time

    hiarieshi -

Thanks for responding. Checked both suggestions and sleep settings are set to activate upon pressing of power button only. No other reason for the system to fall into sleep mode.

Try removing the power button shortcut and seeing if that solves it? The button might be setting off without you touching it.... if that makes sense :)
