Wanted a Class 10 SD card for temp files, internet, emails, downloads. I wont be using the three in one for anything else.

Can it read HC SD? Was looking at the Sandisk Extreme 30MB/s versions. Its internally through USB 2 for that reader right? I forget maximum realworld transfer speed of usb 2.

If it cannot, any suggestion for fastest flash card I can put into it? Trying to get as much as possible off SSD.

    USB bandwidth
    USB 1.1 - 12Mbits/s or ~1.5MB
    USB 2.0 - 480Mbits/s or ~60MB
    USB 3.0 - 5Gbit/s or ~625MB
And yes, you have no problems with read/write to an Class 10 SD card.
I have an Apacer Class 10 SD card in my M11xR1 right now.

Just be aware that not all Class 10 SD cards are equal and throughput may differ.

I wouldn't be expecting great things from it though, as my Apacer Class 10 SD gives only around 10MB transfer rate (HDTune v2.55), but the access time should be around 3ms.

A SanDisk extreme Class 10 SD may give a transfer rate of around 25MB, but you'd need to check that. 200 x 150KB =~30MB

Also remember that the slot isn't as deep as the SD card so it will stick out a good bit. Over half of the card sticks out.

    That, I didn't know...

Any cards formats that it can take (mmc? micro sd?) that would fit better/more flush? I have the neophrene case and its pretty tight as it is without anything sticking out. Like if I didnt use the "cage" for the micro sd to fit into bigger card holders would it fit inside mostly?
