I bought the Alienware m11x recently mainly to play World of Warcraft and the standard Steam games. Everything was working great untill this morning when I noticed that when the battery is fully charged and I unplug the adapter my framerates drop by 50%. (50-60 frames down to 20-30) As soon as I plug in the adapter again they shoot back up. Are there any options that might be set to reduce power to components when on battery? I haven't messed around with any power settings except set it to performance when playing games. Any suggestions

In Command Center, if you go to AlienFusion you can edit your power management plans. If you have a look in there you can ensure that you have sufficient performance settings for when you're on battery power.

Awesome. Thank you for the reply. My cpu and gpu were set to lower settings while on battery power. Easy fix. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
