    All,
My M11X gets extremely hot. The usage is very normal. Not even while gaming. Even when I am using it for regular web browsing mails/youtube etc.
The system is extremely slow, as it heats up it takes me a few mins to open a web browser.
I used RealTemp 3.70 to check the heat. It clocked 75 Degree Centigrade (167 F).

    System Config:
    Processor: U7300 @ 1.30GHz
    RAM: 4GB
    System Type: 64-bit OS
    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium/SP1
Please oh please help. I cant even think of starting to game it would probably put a hole on my desk.

Attached are the screenshots too... Please help.

Hi, in this article there are several good practices to avoid overheating. It is recommended to clean the vents periodically using compressed air and if you feel comfortable disassembling the computer you can consider re-pasting. These two steps can significantly drop your temps.

As above compressed air bursts into the vent to shift any blockages in the radiator which is most likely the cause, either way you might need to go inside to fix the dust build up problem and while you are in there repaste the CPU and GPU. Once done it will run like new it is very worthwhile getting it done.

In general i suggest a Laptop cooler (Zalman NC-1000 is what i have, its fantastic). And also using it in a non tropical environment (i say this out of experience in both Hawaii, Amalfi Coast, Italy in summer, and mediterranean in summer - sucked for my lappy outside).

the ghetto fix me and my buddies have found is putting a deck of cards, dvd case, or coaster underneath the back of the laptop while its on a flat surface, this will allow a little more air into it.

also of course, keep vents clean.
