    Greetings,

There used to be a battery life percentage/time remaining that would appear in the top right corner of the screen, when playing full-screen games. It's been missing for the last couple of weeks, now, whenever I play any game, leaving me to guess at how much battery is left (or alt-tab out).

Does anyone know how to get this back?

    Thanks!

I only noticed that when playing Crysis and Crysis Warhead, while being unplugged. Always thought it was feature that the game provided.

While I can't help you with the battery percentage display, I agree that it would be much more useful even if we could see the battery percentage in Windows on the bottom-right tray. Mac OS X has that details put very nicely.

This is what I suspect too.
I noticed the battery monitor in Crysis too. (Maybe other games also)
To check, I fired up Crysis and then unplugged the AC power... nothing. Doh!
Maybe it's a Crysis startup thing, but I have seen it playing Crysis.

On the base of the M11x is a battery level indicator using five LEDs(Non functioning). It'd be cool if these LED were on the top next to cap lock, wireless and etc strip (On the strip where the on/off button is)... AND that it would work!

If you play any game through Steam (or at least can get the Steam overlay running with a game), you can view battery status by opening up the overlay - assuming you're running the beta.

For Windows, in the tray I'm using BatteryBar.

This is true, if you open the overlay it will display battery life remaining if unplugged. Oh and it's not in beta anymore :p. But the battery feature is very useful <3 steam for that also being able to have a web browser built in the overlay is awesome too. Now when I die in Counter Strike I can quickly post a reply on these forums :D
