    Hi Everyone,

So I finally decided to place my order 7 days ago and the status is now showing as Shipped!!

I went for the core i7, 8GB Ram and the 256GB SSD.

Cost a pretty penny but I'm sure it'll be worth it! :)

Congrats! You maxed out the spec, and I'm sure that you will love it. It's a fantastic laptop, especially with an SSD.

Is this your first SSD machine?

Don't listen to the naysayers that claim the i7 isn't worth the extra money performance wise. It's worth it just to say you have the best. :p

I'm going to go through and get 8gb ram at some point, I just couldn't stomach the upgrade price at the time.

    Thanks everyone :)

Kent1146 - Yes this is my first machine with an SSD.

Kich - That's what it was for me, I wanted the best spec so it would have bothered me had I opted for the i5 and less RAM.

Thanks again everyone, I'll report back to let you know how it's performing.
