I've been reading the optimization threads to raising battery life (R2 i5) and I have a few questions as to what I could expect after a few changes.
    AlienFx Disabled
    1% < cpu power < 20%
    Turbo Disabled
    Screen Brightness 1 above dark
BatteryBar reports 8.9 kw discharge at idle with wifi on.
BatteryBar reports 10.7 kw discharge with chrome open with a few tabs. (spikes to 12.5 to load pages)
    1. How much will a SSD save me? I'm thinking of picking one up since there are rumors that prices will drop once a new controller comes out soon.
    2. Any other advice would be helpful! I think I have gained about as much as i can from the battery optimization thread since it was last updated. Just looking to see if any new ideas have popped up since! I'm avoiding a clean install of Windows until I am decided on the SSD.
    Thanks and Gig'em!
EDIT: Just to clarify the computer runs great for web browsing at these settings.
