Hi. i've had my m11x for about 2 months (sadly i got it a month before the revision :() and i use it on battery all the time. however, in normal transportation in a backpack, the accelerometer gets tripped quite often, causing it to lock up the HDD and cause it to shut down instead of remain in sleep.

is there a way to lower the sensitivity of the accelerometer? it's a great idea, but i think it's too sensitive. i would prefer not to remove the drivers completely, though.

    thanks in advance!

    That sucks.

I carry my M11x around in a bag all day long, and I have never had that happen.

Would I have to manually turn this off somehow if I swapped the hard-drive for an SSD?

No, it's built into the HDD and I doubt it's directly related to the OP's problem.
