    Loose Screw in my new M11xR2 Chassis!

    I called them about this, and he said it was a known issue and was just a piece of plastic... So I took the bottom cover off and tilted it around for a few minutes, and voila! Looks like one of the hard drive mount screws..
    I understand they are making cheaper laptops now, but does their quality have to suffer too?
    This falls under the integrity of their assemblers, are they not paying them enough?
    Did anyone else get a special screw bouncing around inside their Brand New machines?

    Meh, there are typically a few M11x's that have sub-par build quality. Dell does have good assemblers, it's just that mistakes can happen.

    Not only in China. When I got my XPS m1330 back from the repair it arrived without any HD screws. So in that case - consider yourself lucky to have them :D
