Does anyone know where to buy one of the little plastic things that go in the rubber wrap around of the power adaptor that you use to keep it all together?

Mine never came with one and my friend just bought an M11X r2 as well and he is able to keep is cable from going crazy, now I am jealous cause my cable drives me up the wall when I am transporting it!!

I would love to know where to get a spare or if no one wants theirs then I would buy it!

i know this soounds a little crazy, but have you tried phoning dell/ alineware directly?

if not a chess pawn may work as a good substiute , i broke the ball off mine somehow but drilled a small hole into a plastic bb and pinned it with a metal rod, works just as good.

Generic velcro cable wraps work just as well if you don't want to bother with the Dell process.

I generally find the rubber wrap strap really annoying... I just stuff the charger in my bad and i'm good to go

The ball part of the plastic piece broke off on mine too. :(

Nowadays, I just wrap the rubber around the cables and tuck it in to hold in place.

This is a good idea. Now I just need to go through my chess sets!

    Edit: Done! Works great!
