    Led On Alien Head

    Is there a way to change the colors of the LED on the alien head on the back lid. it is set to white but nothing indicates you can chane it the reason i ask is i saw on big bang where sheldon's led's were blue is this option only avail on the M15's?

    The Alien head one the lid of the m11x is lit by the lighting of the screen so you can't change the color nor turn it off.

    There are hard mods you can do, but lots of work is required.

    so on the two larger laptops the head is not lit by screen but by seperate led's thanks guys for the quick response.

    Yep. The larger ones have a seperate LED unit lighting it. The m11x has a thinner profile, so they had to do away with this :(

    So the lighting is the same as the ones on some HP units and some Apple units, lol :p

    Well i guess thats the way the ball drops i do like the effects i wish there were more color combos but its all good thanks for the replies
