Question about Kingston HyperX 120 SSD

Has anyone tried installing this on m11x? I just order me an alienware m11x R3 Intel Core I5 1.6 to 2.4 Turbo Boost and i want to changes my changes the hard drive. Is this a good drive for this system? I read the review on this and they are having freezing problem and bsod on it. If anyone have any other suggestion on SSD drive please feel free to make suggestion. Thank you in advance. :)

I have to agree with Rishwin the HyperX that I have in my Clevo is fast very fast in fact I see 530mb/s sequential reads and my writes are faster than the M4 by about 60mb/s but in the UK you are looking to pay £30 more so it is not worth it.

The HyperX Is a very good drive but I only got mine as a deal with my Clevo I picked up an M4 for my M11x. The exta 8GB will also mean you come away with 120GB of usable space as well compared to the 112GB on the HyperX.

They are both plug and play and will both work perfectly well at SATA III speeds I had my HyperX in my M11 when I first got it till my M4 arrived and it performed as well as it should do.

Nope, had my 128GB Crucial M4 in my M11x R3 for 3 months now and have not had a single issue. The laptop is in use probably 18 hours a day.

So i think I'm gonna go wit yall's advice and pick me up with one of those. Im not really a hardcore gamer just some videos, browsing, couple of games, etc. This is really an upgrade for me from an asus netbook. I've been reading a lot of good reviews about this one and i think its the best bet for my needs. Thanks for your help cant wait for it to come.

SSD's from Amazon seem to come with the latest firmware these days my HyperX did and so did my M4 so you should not face any issues as these two have been out a while now.

    A definate purchase.
