    Hi all

    First post so fingers crossed!

I recently got a second hand M11X R1, and am just starting to feel my way around it. It's a German keyboard which I can live with, but ideally would like to replace it with a UK keyboard.

I can source a R2 backlit keyboard for around £30 from ebay (If anyone knows of anywhere cheaper / better please let me know), but can someone tell me if the fixings are the same for the R2 as the R1 keyboard? I just don't want to waste my time and money if the R2 keyboard won't fit my R1.

    Many Thanks

It's not the same layout as the cable faces the other direction when mounted. Ribbon cable looks the same though.

    Just get an R1 keyboard.
There is no point getting an R2 keyboard when you don't know whether it will fit.
I noticed that the keyboard price is pretty expensive so no point risking !
If you want to know whether there is any difference between the two, why not call technical support for a firm answer?

In the R2 cable turned in another direction. You can not install it.
