I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem, since the m11x's screen picks up dirt and smudges like a car magnet picks up paperclips - but does anyone have a workable solution they're going with right now? I'd like to buy some kind of cloth to carry around with the computer to wipe the screen down, but I don't know what kind of material would work well. Any suggestions?

I buy a Shaggy Mac for every computer I own. It keeps the screen clean and keeps the keyboard off the LCD.

I bought several microfiber cloths off ebay (large 12x16) cut one in half. I keep it as a keyboard/screen protector so keys don't touch the screen. Can use to wipe screen down anytime, very thin so it closes fully no stress on hinges. Cost me $10 for 3 large cloths, works great.

The Razer Kabuto mousepad doubles as a screen cleaner and is the perfect fit to be stored between the keyboard and screen.

Does the 11" Shaggy Mac fit the m11x?

Oh ok microfiber that's what the material's called... good to know, thx. I might do what you did if I find a good deal

Lol I don't really need a razer mousepad though - I use a laser mouse. So I'll probably just save the money and buy some kind of microfiber cloth. That is a cool feature though - but doesn't using your mouse pad as your cleaning cloth mean that it's always really dirty?

These 2' x 1' microfiber cloths go on sale for $0.89 shipped what seems like every week (keep an eye on their "specials" section). I bought one, and it's what I used to clean by screen to put on a screen protector when the included "high quality" microfiber cloth the protector came with left debris.

I own a Razer Kabuto, and I would not use the mousepad as a screen cleaner. The fabric isn't very plush, so any kind of sand or dirt that lands on the mousepad could easily get pressed into the screen and scratch it. Second, do you really want your mousepad to get all gunked up from all of that dirt and oil?

I'd just use a microfiber or soft cotton cloth with a little water.
