I have been working with an escalation manager with Dell for the past week or so due to the issues with my m11x and issues with the support centers.

During that time, they could not do anything for me. I think the most they did was give me a $50 coupon for dell, and refund my shipping. I mean really, what am I going to buy from Dell for $50? Anyway. I was speaking to her regarding the poor build quality of my laptop. And she said she could transfer me to technical support so they can troubleshoot my issue. Mind you, this is after explaining that all the issues I have are cosmetic and due to poor build quality.

So, from what I have learned, you just need to keep calling Dell until you get the right person who can do what you need. Thats what I get to do tonight/tomorrow until they send me a not f'd up system.

I had some build issues too.

Bottom left corner doesnt feel connected well. As in when I'm typing, where my left palm sits. That corner.

    Webcam flickers blue.

They are sending me a replacement that should be here on Tuesday.

It took some prodding to get a replacement sent, but not much.

Yeah, I just called support when I got home. Explained the issue, and they said they would send someone out to fix it. I told them that it was unacceptable, and they need to send me a new one assembled properly. And, I should expect my replacement in about a week or so.

    Nice bro.

What was the issues you were having?

They wanted to repair mine too - and it first I was like yeah thats fine I don't care.

But then it hit me, this is a brand new laptop - I don't want some tech taking it all apart, etc etc. So when I spoke to them next I asked for a replacement instead. And that was that.

Suppose to ship Monday w/ overnight postage.

Keyboard has a huge buldge in it, palm rest on the right side is warped. And the USB 3.0 ports on the right are all crooked.
