    Hey guys,

I received my R2 today, but based off of what everyone's saying, its a pretty scary thing to have right now. Chances are, SOMETHING will be messed up whether it be internal or external, and its a real big hassle to get it all sorted out just to get the system in perfect condition.

So I checked my system today, and yes, when I put paper in between the screen and keyboard when I close it, I have to tug it a bit just to get it out, its definitely not an easy slide.
Also, is it just me or does the R2 hinge make a click sound when you CLOSE it, like right when the screen is aobut to touch the keyboard.

    Thanks all,
I really don't want to have to go through the process of returning and talking to CS etc etc, but if I have to for future proof purposes, then I guess I'll have to.

EDIT: Everything else internally is fine, minus a very slight high pitch sound coming from the laptop itself. The external doesnt seem TOO bad, as I tried opening and closing it without anything in between and I havent seen any marks on it yet. And I just want to know whether that click sound is normal when closing.

    let's see

    1) yes to the keyboard touching the screen
    2) no to hinge issues including sound
    3) i can hear a slight high pitch sound only if i put my ear down left of the touchpad. if i put my head down on the right side (or not down at all) i can't hear it.
