Long story short, my computer has been reformatted and EVERYTHING has been wiped (including OEM and recovery partition). Now my computer won't even detect my wireless adapter. Tried to tell dell, but they were gonna charge me $60 for the info. Any ideas on a fix? I don't care for bonus alienware stuff. I just want wireless internet to work. TY in advance. :(

Do a fresh install of W7 and install drivers. Done.

Yes it does, as a yellow exclamation mark titled "Network Controller". Drivers won't detect the adapter.

    Which driver did you install?

Most M11x's come with the Dell wireless 1520 card.

I tried installing the ones shown at dell's support website (after entering my service code, etc.)

Edit: I believe it was something along the lines of intel wifi 6200/6250

You need the drivers for the half mini 1520 card, not the Intel one. I would do a manual install. If you run the program it adds a bunch of useless junk.

Yeah sounds like you installed the wrong drivers.

On dells website you can put in your service tag and find information about your PC original configuration and even warranty status.
