I've been having a frustrating last 2 months with my M11x R3. I've been getting frequent blue screens from driver issues with the Killer Wireless card that is in my system (trying every driver I can and disabling the application control to find something stable has been successful only in spurts) and recently I have had my GT540 magically disappear and received "nvidia card not detected" errors that I have only been able to fix by flashing my bios in order for my laptop to rediscover the card. Unless someone has some similar experience with a miracle fix for me, is it time for me to wave the white flag and just send it back and see if Alienware can do something about it?

Call Dell and have then send out a technician with replacement parts. They'll obviously want to troubleshoot first to see what the issue is but chances are they will send out an entire new system board with CPU & GPU (both integrated onto board). Don't send your PC back to Dell unless they are replacing the entire unit - Do NOT let them repair it at their depot.

could be just a software issue... reintall intel drivers, i had mine messed up, would get similar issues, now on 15.something.something intel video driver works fine.

I'd try a clean windows reinstall first... or get a spare HDD

I ordered an external dvd drive that is showing up monday to try a re-install. Trying the intel drivers is not a half bad idea, I'll probably try that tonight and see if it makes a difference. When you were having similar issues did you notice anything in particular that set off the bsods or the nvidia card disappearing? The issues seem so random that I am at the point where I just thought it was hardware issues instead of software. Love the machine, its so handy, but damn its frustrating when its not reliable.
