Well I currently have an m11x R2 which is now over two years old, late last year I went away for two weeks and came home to find, for some reason, my number keys had stopped working [possibly out of protest]. For the most of this time i've been using either the on screen keyboard [awkward] or a usb one which tends to cause more heat as it sits ontop of my laptop and thus messes with the proper circulation. What I was wondering was if there was a way I could maybe map custom fn buttons to the q through p keys to represent the numbers just above them. This probably isnt possible knowing my luck, but any help would be appreciated.

I don't think that's possible to be quite honest. If you need a keyboard replacement you can always e-mail [email protected]
