    Hi guys,

    Was wondering if it is safe for my gt540m to be idling in a game for 2+ hours straight... I have been doing it for 1 hr and its at a steady 140-145 f please let me know :)

    Yes it's safe, your temps are low.

    It would be worse if you were gaming and quitting the game, then restarting the game repeatedly. The heat/cool cycle is what kills the GPU.

    Constantly sitting at 145 F is fine.
