about a year ago, my m11xr2 was running fine, then suddenly stopped playing all my games. Minecraft is unplayable, BLOOD PC is unplayable. It used to play flawlessly. Like i siad, this was a year ago, and ive been trying to fix this damn laptop since. A couple days ago, i downloaded windows 10, hoping that it would fix the problem, but still, no luck. i updated all of my drivers, minecraft is using GEFORCE. I just dont get it. Numerous spybot antivirus disk clean you name it. still, no avail. hell, even my browsers are slow. Is it time to toss this fossil? Please help, i will provide any screenshots, screenshare, whatever.

Well grab msi afterburner and give us a screenshot of the read outs while playing a game

Then we can see if its being properly utilized

HWinfo will be great for displaying temps too and other information as well.

How long ago have you repasted the CPU and GPU? Also, when playing games, can you feel hot air coming out of the fan exhausts?

I'm thinking your case is simply due to lack of maintenance.

Sorry. By "maintenance issue" I meant overheating due to lack of fan blade + heat sink fin cleaning and/or thermal paste replacement. The disassembly process for your Alienware can be found here if inn the end your issue isn't software related.
Also you should check for any processes that use a ridiculous amount of resource. In the past it took me a awhile to figure out on my Win7 machine that Windows Update running in the background caused my laptop to turbo the fan whenever I game.
