How to use MagicDisc/MagicISO?

Right so I'm trying to get some of my CD games onto my new M11X, so my friend told me about "copying CD image" or something like that.

So I downloaded MagicISO and went through all that, have it all set up on my M11X - Installed the game and tried to play.

Boom. I need a CD. That's when I realised I needed two programs, so I went back, and downloaded MagicDisc. Transferred it to my M11X, and attempted to run MagicDisc.

Double Boom. It tells me to "Right click MagicDisc.exe and Run as Administrator." so I did that, the Windows screen popped up confirming and I said yes.

But then it repeats the "Blah blah blah, Right click MagicDisc.exe and Run as Administrator."

Can someone help me?

EDIT: Could the problem be that I'm downloading it on a Windows Vista PC (but downloading the Windows 7 ver.) and transferring it to my M11X? (I can't get my M11X on with my ISP, changing soon though)

 

Try Daemon Tools or PowerISO.

Either way - if a game wants the CD - faking the CD image won't bypass the security check. You need to crack the game or use an external DVD drive.

 

Don't want to sound patronising but if you google no CD crack or similar plenty of options will come up.
Then download to install directory. Not sure I can go into more detail as Batboy may shoot me down in flames.
Oh and this will probably screw multiplayer on most ganes not that PB does that already with optimus!!

 

It works just fine, already shot him a PM on a few things so I think the thread can be closed. As long as there is no hacking of encryption on a disk to the best of my knowledge it is perfectly legal if you are the legal owner of the said game.

 

Use Dameon tools is better.
