Hello to everybody. The firm I am working with, has given me a M11x (it arrived today). I have been looking around but I do not know if it is a M11xR1 or an M11xR2. Do you know which program/label/etc. I have to use/see to know which M11x I have.

The Nvidia driver version it has is no. 197.72. I have downloaded the newest one, driver version 260.99, but whenever I install it, it is impossible to use the full resolution as well as the Nvidia control panel disappears from the desktop. Any hint?.

    Thanks a lot!.

If it has a VGA port on the side it is a R1. No VGA port it is a R2.

The R2 will radiate overpowering waves of sweet clean awesomeness, whereas the R1 will erratically pulse with creamy goodness.

R1 will have a Pentium or Core 2 sticker on the bottom.

R2 will have a Core i5 or Core i7 sticker on the bottom.

Thanks a lot for your answers, it is R1 (I would like to have the R2, but ... less is nothing  ).

Btw, I have seen in other thread that it is not possible to change to a new Nvidia driver
