    How can i know if my m11x is r2 or r3 ? please help

    i have an alienware m11x laptop with following spec :

    Core i7-2617 (1.5 ~ 2.9) 4MB Cache , 8GB Ram , 750gb++ HDD , nVidia Geforce 540M (2GB)

    can you tell me if my laptop is r2 or r3 ?

    Easiest way to tell - R1 is a Core2Duo with 335M, R2 is i3/i5/i7 with 335M & R3 is i3/i5/i7 with 540M.

    Extremely early model R2's also came in Core2Duo though, so those ones are hard to differentiate.
