Brother is thinking about getting the R2 for Rift from the Outlet or Ebay.

How well does it handle Rift and Civ V end game?

My R1 gets 30/32 frames on low settings, works very well.

My R1 gets 10-20 fps on rift with medium settings.. on a 24" 1080p external display. Have yet to test on native display, hoping at least for 20-30.

My M11X-R1 OC'ed both CPU and GPU handled Rift at 25-35fps at native resolution (720p) not a hickup, so Im sure the i5 can do as well or better.

My machine (in sig) runs rift fine at 1600x900. I tuned the settings to high and then dropped the shadows, lighting and particles. Cranked the draw distance and textures. Just have to tweak it a little. Also I have my fan running at full speed, and a 160mhz overclock on my CPU. No GPU overclock.
