Well I ordered my m11x sunday night this week. I've been checking the status everyday and EDD is next friday the 10th. I checked my bank account and the charge of 650$ to my account for the laptop is gone, as if the transaction never went through but the status on the laptop is still "in production".

So I'm not sure I just want to make sure I get my laptop been waiting for it and can't wait any longer :D

Give them a call and check. I would recommend the Alienware line as opposed to the Dell one. 800 254 3692

Alienware does that so don't worry too much. Every time I've ordered from Alienware(more times than I care to admit too :D ) they run a test charge before building the laptop then it disappears, this is to ensure you have the money in the account only. Then sometime between when they ship the computer and when it's received they will rerun the charge permanantly.

Yeah, thats the way it went with me too, they charged it, then uncharged it, then charged it again.

It works just like pumping gas by swiping a credit/debit card at the pump before you pump the gas. The gas station runs a preauthorization(though it's usually more with gas) then that disappears then they charge the actual amount ;)

Phew** okay, I couldn't wait another week because they couldn't process a transaction lol but if I would've had the laptop for free, that would've been awesome! Would just buy the 256g SSD with the money charged back :p
