    I ordered one of these last December but canceled it because of the hinge issues that this laptop had, but now reading that dell released a new hinge design. Does this mean that the hinge related issues are completely gone? because I'd sell my HP dm1 if that is true. that was the only thing holding me back from getting this laptop.

    so is it true? are these new hinges what we have been waiting for? also if I order one of these will it come with the new hinges or not?

    There is a huge thread on this already in forum. Since there is a new program only just started, "no" not completely gone.
