Ok, I have quite a weird problem with my hinge. The red stripes in the picture (made a print screen from a video review, I'll make one of my m11x later), indicate where it goes wrong. It should be glued/melted together on that place, but it isn't on mine, which is weird, since I never put pressure on that place. When I travel with it it usually lays on its side in my backback, and I always handle it carfully.

Is this a serious issue? Should I send it back to Dell?

you can click it back together - if the laptop starts making creaking noises after, though, then i'd send it back to dell. else, if there are no noises or creaks, then all should be fine.
